Tail Lift Supply, Servicing & Repairs

Complete Tail Lift Support

From passenger-access tail lifts to heavy-duty commercial equipment, MSM/DRH Limited provides specialist support throughout the working life of your tail lift.

Our services include supply and fitting, servicing, maintenance, repairs, parts and LOLER thorough examinations, backed by experienced engineers and our Worcester-based service and parts teams.

Our tail lift engineers support customers throughout Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, extending into the Welsh borders and along the M5 between Birmingham and Bristol. For customers further afield, we can also arrange assistance through our network of specialist agents.

Whether you operate a single vehicle or manage an entire fleet, we’re here to help keep your tail lifts safe, reliable and working.

Supply & Fitting

Choosing the right tail lift depends on the vehicle, load capacity, operating environment and how the equipment will be used. Our experienced team can advise on suitable options, explain the differences between them and help you select the right solution.

We supply and fit tail lifts for commercial vehicles and passenger-access applications, matching the equipment to your specific requirements and ensuring it is properly installed and suitable for the job.

Service & Maintenance

Regular servicing helps maintain reliability, identify developing faults and reduce the risk of unexpected breakdowns. Our engineers maintain all makes of tail lift, with service vehicles carrying commonly required replacement parts.

Several of our engineers can also service forklifts, allowing both types of equipment to be maintained during the same visit where practical. This can reduce disruption, separate engineer visits and travelling costs.

Repairs & Breakdown

When a tail lift fails, it can leave a vehicle unable to carry out its intended work. Our engineers diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, either on site or at our Worcester workshop.

Same-day or next-day support may be available, subject to engineer and parts availability. We can also arrange wider assistance through our specialist network, helping get your vehicle back into service as quickly as possible.

DBS Checked Engineers

We understand that tail lift engineers may need to work at locations where children or vulnerable people are present, including schools, care facilities and specialist transport operations.

Our engineers attending these environments are DBS-checked, providing additional reassurance for organisations where safeguarding and site security are important considerations.

LOLER Thorough Examinations

Tail lifts used at work are subject to applicable requirements under the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and other work equipment legislation.
